Went to SMORR for the first time back in 2017 as a passenger and had so much fun and ever since then I’ve been hooked in off roading

Yeah, its a turboshaft so an afterburner does nothing, Krug is actually just injecting fuel in the exhaust outlet and igniting it to create nice and showy plumes of fire since he explained that if he injects it like an afterburner it would just burn up the drive turbine, and that's very bad for obvious reasons -rotating glowing blades of fiery death explosion big no no-

@@desertrat1357 A top of the line 2001 Grand Caravan with the big over 200hp 3.8L engine does the 1/4 mile in 17 seconds at 81 mph. Kinda anemic, its top speed is 125 mph and it does weigh 4200lbs, its theoretical top speed if you maxed out 4th gear would be 183 mph but it doesn't accelerate much if at all in that gear. It takes 120 seconds to reach its top speed of 125 mph too. This turbine engine is a Rolls-Royce Nimbus, it makes 954 mechanical horsepower, weighs 670 pounds on its own which goes up to maybe 870 pounds of added weight with the custom v-drive and rear drive axle (not to mention hydraulics that move the entire engine forward to tuck it away behind the window that moves up to cover it), and since its all one gear its like the Koenigsegg Regera but without the special hydraulic coupling that gives it acceleration. So this probably has a top speed over 200 mph and takes a while to get there, it would get its 1.5mpg no matter what speed the van goes, perhaps more actually to an extent at high speeds, and when all of its jet fuel runs out then he can run the van's engine getting 20 mpg at highway speed. Man I love this van, krugtech is an awesome fella, he's still got the thing even after 15 years and he still has fun XD
